The SEPIA team of the Laboratory of Signal and Image Processing (LTSI, Rennes, France), is involved in the field of cardiovascular signal processing and modeling, with applications on implantable devices. Our team participates in a large-scale multidisciplinary project (INTENSE project) involving 4 research units in France, 2 hospitals and 3 industries on the field of implantable medical devices.

This PhD is part of the CAMI LaBEX Projets

The objective of this PhD research project is to develop image processing and validation tools for cumulating the dose in irradiated deformable structures. The scientific objectives will focus therefore
on the issues of dose monitoring for fully exploiting the benefit of IGRT (Image Guided RadioTherapy). The application will concern mainly the rectum in case of prostate cancer IGRT.

The Laboratory of Signal and Image Processing (LTSI) is involved in the field of computer-aided interventions (http://www.ltsi.univ-rennes1.fr/). LTSI's research is at the interface of information sciences and health. Its intentions are methodological, technological and clinical and purposes are interpretation and decision support.
